Splishy-Splashing!

Sunday afternoon was a hot and sticky one here on the farm. I figured it would be the perfect day to break out Maddy's new pool and swimsuit. She loved it...didn't even mind the cool water! I think this will be an ongoing activity throughout the summer. We can't wait to take her to the "big" pool and see what she thinks of that. Jerod is already talking about taking her to Schlitterbahn down in Texas. Whoa, Daddy!

Pretty in Pink

Like I mentioned earlier, we had a busy weekend. One of the things I enjoyed the most was this little "photo shoot" with our nieces Hannah (5) & Megan (4) and Maddy (almost 8 mos.). Jerod and I bought the girls these little matching sundresses for Easter. We've been looking forward to getting them all together so that we could get some pictures, so Sunday was the day. Pam laid out the pretty quilt and tried to keep the girls attention and Maddy contained! It was quite the feat! They did well and we did get several cute little pictures. Enjoy...

Big Girl PJ's

Grandma got Maddy got her first big girl pj's. The little set has a long top and shorts, both with ruffles! Maddy looks super cute in them & they are perfect for crawling! She can't wait to take them to Grandma's for our visit in a couple of weeks. Thanks Grandma!

FUN, Busy Weekend at The Duncans

We headed to Arkansas on Friday afternoon to visit The Duncans. When we head out for the weekend it looks like we are leaving for a month with all of the stuff we need! We stayed busy going to baseball & t-ball games, playing outside and sitting on the porch (my favorite!). It was nice to catch up with everyone. We were hopeful that Maddy would sleep through the night at MeMe and Grandad's house since she has been doing so well at home. No such luck. Her top two teeth are about halfway down and she looks to be getting two more bottom teeth. That combined with all of the excitement of cousins and Rosie the dog were enough to keep Maddy rearing and ready to go. That's part of it...we can sleep later! Maddy had so much fun!

Maddy is the 5th grandchild to use this baby swing. She LOVED swinging with her cousins!
