Take Me Out to the Ball Game

Hey everyone! It's Madelyne here....Last week, me and Mommy went to Arkansas so Mommy could go play Bunco and we could go to watch the Naturals with Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Mitchell. I had so much fun. I waved at people, smiled at them, yelled at them, said hi and just enjoyed people watching. I really liked it when all of those people clapped and cheered. It's a good thing I have learned to clap, and yell "Yea!" because I got to help cheer on the Naturals too! I even got to meet some babies that have Daddies who play for the Naturals. Their mommies had to change their diapers too, so we all got acquainted in the community room. They were smaller than me, but I enjoyed looking at them in their strollers and patting their hands. I just had so much fun!!!

Making the most of a rainy day!

Maddy and I played and played and played this morning. Once she decided it was time to play by herself, so I snuck over to the kitchen to make some cookies & watch her play. As I was measuring my ingredients out, I noticed she had found her pool. (We stuck it behind the couch last night since it was supposed to storm and we didn't want the pool to blow away.) Anyway, she had so much fun dragging that pool around the living room & then into the kitchen, crawling in and out of it and trying to step into it. I think she enjoyed it more without the water! Not only was she having a great time with the pool, she even stopped to ham it up for me and the camera!

Long Time, No Blog...

Whew! The past few weeks have been crazy busy for our little family! Jerod had his 2-week annual training with the National Guard, while Maddy and I spent the two weeks with family. Maddy had a lot of fun with her grandparents and cousins. Then we were busy getting ready for our families to come visit for the 4th of July--lots of garden work, grocery shopping and house cleaning & toss in Maddy's summer cold & you have a busy week! Last week was fun...my Mom came and stayed the week with us. We did two days of shopping in Tulsa, a lot of vegging--watching HGTV, Food Network and enough Michael Jackson stuff to suit me for a long time! I really enjoyed spending all of that time with my mom. This past weekend, Maddy and I stayed at my parents' house while Jerod had drill. Now today, it's back to normal--plus catching up on laundry and house stuff! Here are a few pics from the last few weeks....
