A Glimpse at Peanut #2!

I went to see my new doctor for the first time today. Everything went well & the doctor and his nurses all seem great. A lot different from the pace and feel of Dr. Sarver's practice, but really, how practical would it be to try to continue going to AR for appointments and then of course labor and delivery??? Obviously, it was time to switch. Even though we don't know many people over here still, the ladies I am acquainted with all had good things to say about Dr. Babb. I think that says a lot considering the size of Tulsa. Anyway, the most exciting part was getting a new picture of Baby #2!!! Enjoy a peek! It makes me so anxious for our next appointment...only 4 weeks until the major ultrasound!!!

WOO PIG SOIEE!!!!

We had a great weekend with my parents, Daniel and Mitchell. It was great to see Daniel & get to visit with him! We hope to go to Florida and visit him as soon as we can. We just vegged all weekend and enjoyed the company. Of course, the Razorbacks' loss was disappointing, but our little cheerleader did her best to root them on. Maddy is proficient in shaking her pom poms and calling the Hogs. She puts her arms way up in the air, then claps with excitement, but doesn't do the WOO part anymore. I had fun making the tutu for her. The hardest part was trying to decide if the waist measurement should be at her natural waist (belly button region), or if I should measure the "Maddy waist"...below the gut! I went with the natural waist, but it just slides down below her little belly anyway. Maybe it will still fit her next year!

Girls Day Out

Mom, me and Maddy enjoyed a fun girls day this past Friday while we were in Arkansas for a visit. First, we headed out to get my hair cut and to get a little trim for Maddy. She isn't ready for an actual haircut yet, but her bangs definitely needed a trim. Somehow she looks bigger now! After lunch at McAlisters, we went to Dilly Dally's--the best toy store in NWA if you ask me! I wanted to get some ideas for Maddy's b-day and Christmas (yes, I am thinking about it already!). Maddy went nuts to say the least. Everything was so much fun to touch and pick up! Mom and I enjoyed it just as much as she did. I was really surprised with how interested she was in all of the baby dolls and the strollers, carriers, etc. She pushed a baby around for a little while and loved it! Mom bought a backpack to put back for Maddy's b-day--it's too cute! Then we headed to the Promenade to find Maddy her first pair of tennis shoes, some new socks, and of course, a new outfit. We were successful to say the least! Also had to hit Yankee Candle (bogo coupons are the best!). I am enjoying my Vanilla Pumpkin candle right this moment. Of course, no girls day is complete without a stop at Starbucks. It was a great day & tons of fun. A much needed day out. Thanks for taking the day off, Mom!

Just a trim!!!
